Birthday Boy Card With Bella Blvd.

It is my nephew's 5th birthday this weekend so I made this card this morning. I used Bella's new Birthday Boy line. I was able to put it together very quickly which is always nice. Sometimes I end up agonizing over every little embellishment and sentiment and don't end up getting anything done! I added some stickles to each embellishment to add some pop!

A Little Of This, A Little Of That...

I made a layout today in a very different size for me- 8.5x11. I am not sure if I even have an album in this size! I am daring to be different today! I used a mixed bag of products today. The paper is Pebbles from the Sunny Side collection. The letter stickers and the chipboard sun is from Bella Blvd. The button is from Basic Grey. The twine is Doodlebug. I used EK Success border punches on the orange stripe paper. The "You are my sunshine" sticker is also from Pebbles.

I also made a small card for Halloween. Do people even give cards at Halloween? I don't think I ever have. Oh well, I had a cute idea. I used Bella Blvd. tape as my background. I pop dotted the bat sticker which is from Doodlebug. The bling and letter stickers are also Doodlebug.

A bit of a mixed bag today!

More Mini's With Pebbles

Here is round two of my mini cards using that sheet from Pebbles: Sunny Side. In this card I pop dotted the wings of the butterfly and then added Doodle pearls to the body. I added 3 flower stickers and stickled the centers. I also pop dotted the orange square onto the green paper.

I added two different strips of patterned paper to the top of this sentiment tag. I cut the bottom to look like a banner. I added Doodle Pearls to the flower centers.

I added a second butterfly sticker and then stickled the trail of the top butterfly and the body of the bottom butterfly. Very simple!

I added two strips of patterned paper above and below the hearts. I also stickled the light pink hearts and the sentiment. It was still wet when I took this picture so it might look a little gloppy but it does dry nicely.

I used stickles on the border of the green, the brackets, and the sentiment. Then I added three flower stickers.

This was a big card, not the mini size, because this sentiment was quite large. I added the two banner stickers and pop dotted two bird stickers on top.

Here is my big boy Taz with my cards. He was enjoying the sun when I interupted him to take these pictures. He did not want to move so I worked around him! Although he did decide to make some trouble, as you can see! He likes to eat paper- wierdo! He ruined this picture of the pink card. It was a mini using a miss you sentiment. I added heart stickers, a blank banner, and I sprayed frost mist over the whole card. He is too cute!

Mini Cards With Pebbles

I used this awesome sheet of mini sentiments from Pebbles Sunny Side Collection to make some cards. I am not done but here is my first batch!

I used coordinating papers from this same line from Pebbles on each mini card. I also used the accents and phrase stickers from Sunny Side as well. I added the banner sticker and the 3 flower stickers at the bottom.

I pop dotted this bird sticker and added a few buttons from my collection.

I love adding glitter which is what I did here! I used stickles in crystal to outline the white. I also added Doodle Bling to the flowers!

I pop dotted the blue square with the sentiment. I added Doodle Pearls to the flowers and of course I stickled the sentiment.

I pop dotted a butterfly sticker and added 3 Doodle Pearls. I also stickled the circle in pink.
Below are the insides of 3 of the mini's that I added another sentiment to. I love how easy it was to create these mini cards- perfect for those last minute gifts to the people in your life!

Bella Blvd. Blunder!

I posted this layout a few weeks back but I thought I would post it again since I added some glitter spray to it! I used Sheer Shimmer by Tsukineko in Frost and Sparkle. I thought it added a bit of the snowy feeling! Kind of hard to see in the photo maybe...

And this is my Bella Blvd. Blunder- I was going to enter their designer challenge posted on their blog. I was going to enter to be a layout designer and so the challenge was to submit 4 layouts that have never been seen before. I made my layouts and was ready to photograph them today when I noticed that the deadline was Sept. 5th. For some crazy reason I had it in my head that the deadline was Sept. 15th. So I missed my chance to enter but that means I can post them on my blog! Disappointing but there is always next time!

The challenge was to use all Bella products and that is what I did. I used paper and embellishments from the Winter Wonder collection on this layout.

I used the Thankful Collection on this layout. I love all the matching embellishments that come with Bella's lines. From borders to journalling stickers to chipboard, Bella makes it so easy to create pages using their products!

I used Bella's Winter Wonder line for this layout as well. I inked the scalloped sticker with brown ink by Colorbox.
I have been making some mini cards using Pebbles paper and will post some of those tomorrow.
Hope you enjoyed my silly mistake!!!!

G'Bye Card with Cricut

Hello! Fall seems to be at our door with the start of school and this cooler weather we are having all of a sudden! I happen to love the changing leaves and cool night air. I love summer but I think Fall is my favorite season. My sister is leaving for a year and I am very sad about it. I am going to miss her terribly. We have never been apart that long and most importantly, we have never been apart on holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving. So this is my G'Bye card to her. I used my Cricut to make the owls using the cartridge Hoot N' Holler. I used a mix of supplies here.

The plain paper is all bazzill cardstock. The green dotted paper is from Echo Park. The clouds are cut from Bella Blvd's Sunshine & Happiness paper. I inked the edges of the card with brown ink from ColorBox. The sticker is from Crate Paper and the letter stickers are from Jillibean Soup.

I cut this sentiment using my Cricut and the same cartridge. The paper is Bazzill cardstock.

A whole year without my sister.......what am I going to do!!!

Echo Park Cards

I am trying to fit in as much as I can today before Back To School!!! I made this card using Echo Park's So Happy Together line, which also happens to be the sentiment on this card!
I pop dotted the birds and cut some of the circle stickers in half to make a scalloped border on the bottom.
I used Echo Park's Hello Summer line for this card. I added Doodlebug Pearls to the flower centers and I stickled the flower at the bottom. I pop dotted the bee and added stitching with a brown Sharpie marker.
There were not too many people on the beach yesturday but there were ALOT of seagulls! Oh, it was a sweet, sweet summer! Hot weather, pool time, beach time, vacations.........Goodbye summer!
                                                                         Welcome Fall..........

So Happy!!!

Well, this might be our last blast of summer here! It is the long weekend and I am off to the beach today to enjoy this last little bit of summer. Once again I was up early scrapping and here is what I came up with! I realize you can see the dotted side of the paper through the yellow on the left side of this picture and I did not intend for that to show but I am a little too lazy to retake my pictures! Plus I want to hit the road!

I used Bella Blvd's Sunshine & Happiness line to create this layout. I used a circle punch to get the scalloped look. I used a Ciao Chip sun and some stickers from this line as well. I used a black Sharpie for the stitching and black Bazzill cardstock to mat my 4x6 photo.

One of the great things about Bella's stickers is that the matching letters also come on the sticker sheet so there is no need to reach for other lines to find the perfect colour!

Isn't the sun super cute! I have always been a sucker for hot, sunny weather. On that note I better get myself ready for the beach- the sun is calling my name!!!!
